Expertic Nutcrackers - GDR & DDR

The Erzgebirge nutcracker stands 13 1/2” (34 cm) tall and is in exceptionally nice condition. His fur (hair) is very soft; rabbit maybe? Both arms are held by a single peg so they move and can be positioned as you want them. He must have fallen on his nose because there is some paint loss on the right side.

In addition to the Expertic tag, the bottom has “Made in German Democratic Republic stamped on the bottom. Someone has also printed a capital “A” on the bottom in pencil.
